The IRONFAN is a collaborative,
international scientific endeavor that aims to elucidate the
natural history of fetal anomalies.
The IRONFAN has two goals:
- to reveal the natural
history of human fetal malformations, chromosomal
abnormalities and diseases
- to determine the ability
of ultrasound to identify (or exclude) the existence of an
anomaly during the entire gestational age range
